Recognized by the International Cinematographers Guild as a 2024 Emerging Cinematographer and awarded a 2025 Regional Emmy for the documentary Bearing Witness: A Name and A Voice for The Boston Globe, Dylan collaborates with talented creatives to bring stories to life.
As a Cinematographer, he is driven by an enduring curiosity for the stories people share and how to portray them with intention and visual authenticity. His work has taken him around the world, filming scientists in industry leading pharmaceutical labs racing toward breakthrough cures, journeying with cancer survivors summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro, capturing Bright Eyes’ debut 2024 music video for their album Five Dice, All Threes, and producing cast interviews, behind-the-scenes, and major marketing campaigns across three seasons, including the finale of Netflix’s Stranger Things.
Drawn to projects with a clear spark and vision, Dylan thrives on collaboration with nimble, dedicated teams on stories that resonate universally.
Technically, he is guided by how light, movement, and the craft of cinematography creates a shared energy between camera and subject. From large scale productions to documentaries, music videos, or commercials, he embraces the complexities and nuances of each project.
Off set, Dylan enjoys helping shaping the path to screen by partnering with producers, studios, agencies, and directors on budgets, schedules, pitch decks, and look books. He finds deep satisfaction when early planning leads to the realized moment once cameras roll.
A member of IATSE Local 600 Eastern Region and based in Asheville, North Carolina, Dylan frequently works in Atlanta, Boston, and other unique corners of the world.
