THE STORM & THE TREE

The Storm & The Tree is a short narrative film that traces four generations of a Dominican family as they weather both a literal storm and the unpredictable tempests of life. In the face of disaster, the family leans on one another, drawing strength from love, tradition, and an unyielding determination to survive. Filmed on location Mata Naranjo, Dominican Republic the film explores how moments of sacrifice and support can shape a family’s legacy. Through struggle and triumph, these women discover that endurance is not just about surviving the storm, but about planting roots that allow them to grow and flourish.
